I was watching a movie and it ended about 11:00, and then I looked outside and the entire lake was lit up by the moon! So I got my tripod out and setup to get this shot. This was one of the first ones I took and it ended up being my favorite! This was a 30 second exposure shot with my ultra wide angle lens.
Just about every modern website has what they call an RSS feed, it is a special link that broadcasts updates/new posts from that websites to online applications called readers. I use Google reader, you can check it out here. Watch the video below to get a better understanding of the whole process. So that way you can be notified every time I add something!
So I was on my way to Northport last night to vist some people when I saw this fountain, it was actually the entrance to a subdivision but had photo op all over it! This is actually a double exposure, I exposed for the fountain and then I exposed for the background and then I loaded them into photoshop and photomerged them and then I used a little layer masking to bring the properly exposed fountian out.
I try to keep my posts associated with photography but I figured I would remind everyone if you haven’t done so to get out and vote, and I figured I would share my unique experience at the polls.
I went to my precinct at 7:00am this morning there were 3 or 4 people in line and after standing in line for less than 2 or 3 minutes I handed my DL to one of the poll workers so she could look me up. She then told me that I had early voted on the 31st, which I did NOT! I told her that my dad had early voted (Same Legal Name) so after calling several people including the supervisor of elections she told me I would have to go to the supervisor of elections office to get it straightened out.
So I went there and gave them my DL, they then searched through tons of early voting signatures to find the one that was supposedly mine so after about 45 min of searching they finally found it and allowed me to do a absentee ballot right there instead of driving all the way back to my precinct. The moral of the story is voting is a right that cost many lives to obtain, so please make your vote count!
