Finally got to try out the new lens on some football action! I took some getting use to but I really love it. The quality that it puts out is just simply amazing! Be sure to check back soon for some cheerleading and Football team pix. As well as a brand new website. (not this site, this is the blog) Feel free to drop me a comment.
I recently shot the Senior High Varsity and JV Football teams group and individual pictures. However the coaches wanted to take them behind a board that has all the victory’s like state championships etc. well the only problem is half of the goal post was in the left side along with the flag pole, power lines and a pole.
So after about 45 min in Photoshop I was able to fix some minor color issues along with remove all the unwanted junk. You can see the end result below and directly below that you will find the untouched version. Feel free to drop me comment and let me know what you think. Don’t forget to check back for my pics from this Fridays Jamboree.
It has been a little crazy lately around here and yesterday afternoon I decided to go out and shoot some pics with my new 300 2.8 lens. So I drove over to the Hardee Lakes park in Ft. Green. If you have never been, you need to take the time to make it that way especially if you fish! The Bird was about 100 yards from the bank and the sun was just getting read to set. I almost missed the deer and I slammed on my brakes and got two shots before she lept away.
I went to Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay yesterday. I almost didn’t take my camera but I decided to put some faith in the lockers there! I ended up with about 50 good shots out of 460 these were the best of the best. Surprisingly two of my faves were of a squirrel and a Cardinal. The squirrels are very tame there, the shot below was taken at about 4 feet and there was another person about a 1 1/2 feet away from it trying to feed him. My favorite shot of the day is the flamingo directly below which had it’s head buried in it’s back and I zoomed in real tight!
